Product Overview
AGX ALM3-M-F 1310 nm AGx Laser Diode:
The ALM3 series of 1310nm DFB laser modules is intended for use in the transmission of broadband analog signals. The high linearity makes them especially suitable for CATV broadcast and narrowcast applications. All critical components, including optical isolator, TEC, thermistor, laser, and monitor photodiode are hermetically sealed in a butterfly package.
This laser includes the spectral output plot.
Proper Handling and Operation of Laser Diodes:
Laser diodes are highly susceptible to damage from ESD and from temperatures exceeding their specified safe operating range. The user is advised to use care and proper ESD safety practices when handling them to avoid damage to the laser. A properly rated low noise current source, a low thermal resistance mount and a temperature controller should be used for optimal device performance and reliability.
