1480nm Laser Diode; Grating Stabilized Raman Pump

These high power, grating stabilized 1480nm laser diodes are the latest generation of fiber coupled pumps for Raman Amplification. They are powered by 3SP Technologies in-house wafer fabrication technology. This chip technology is the basis for industry leading performance, low power consumption and high reliability. The low profile 14-pin butterfly package modules are available with an operating power of >500mW and offer an extended case temperature range from -5 to 70°C. They incorporate a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), a precision NTC. The wavelength is “locked” utilizing a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) located in a polarization maintaining fiber (PMF). The module meets Telcordia GR-468-Core requirements for hermetically sealed laser diodes.
