This product is sold with a full one year warranty. It is warrantied to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment. The warranty is transacted and honored by Laser Lab Source for product purchases made through Laser Lab Source.
These DFB lasers are offered at 1588nm or 1590nm center wavelength. They are single frequency devices offered in a standard 14-pin butterfly. The package includes an internal TE cooler, thermistor and monitor photodiode. They provide 40mW of output power in CW mode, and 60mW pulsed mode. They are SMF28 fiber-coupled devices with an FC/APC fiber termination connector. PM fiber is available as an option.
The 1588nm wavelength corresponds to a strong absorption line of water vapor, making widely used for high-sensitivity detection. At this wavelength, water vapor absorbs efficiently, enabling precise measurements of humidity levels and moisture content in various settings.
