Product Overview

375nm Laser Diode Overview

These high power 375nm laser diodes are offered in a fiber-coupled HHL package with an SMA905 fiber connector. The fiber is 150 micrometer core multimode fiber with an SMA905 connector. The 14-pin HHL package includes an internal 10K thermistor and TE cooler for stable wavelength and long operating lifetime at high output power levels. These devices are used in flourescence, spectroscopic and other R&D applications requiring high power and wavelength stability. These high stability laser diodes are designed and manufactured to meet demanding R&D and industrial applications. Proprietary design, packaging, and fiber coupling processes produce laser diodes with very high stability and low noise. Each laser diode is extensively tested and goes through a burn-in cycle before shipment to ensure the highest possible levels of quality and long term reliability.

Proper Handling and Operation of Diode Lasers

Diode lasers are highly susceptible to damage from ESD and from temperatures exceeding their specified safe operating range. The user is advised to use care and proper ESD safety practices when handling them to avoid damage to the laser. A properly rated low noise current source, a low thermal resistance mount and a temperature controller should be used for optimal device performance and reliability.
