Product Overview
These turn-key laser diode systems include an open pulsed driver with 790 nm butterfly single-mode laser diode with Hi780 fiber and FC/APC connector. They have up to 400 mW pulsed output power out of a 106 µm core fiber and a pulse repetition rate of up to 20 MHz. The user-design nanosecond pulse shape has a 0.5 ns resolution and up to 8 µs pulsewidth (The AWG pulse generator is integrated). They have a 3 mm metal protected jacket multimode output fiber (NA = 0.22). These units are compatible with OPTION 1 (PM Fiber), OPTION 2 (Narrow emission spectrum centered @ 792 nm with FBG), OPTION 3 (3 mm collimator), and OPTION 4 (250 MHz version). Note that the CCM and CCMI driver and mount units are 24 VDC powered devices, please contact us if you would like us to suggest a compatible 24 VDC power supply. Note: When OPTION 2 (FBG) is chosen, it takes >~50-100 ns for the laser diode to lock on its FBG wavelength: the laser diode behaves like a standard Fabry-Perot laser diode during the first 10 ns.
