This butterfly package mount was designed specifically for semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOA’s). It provides a cost-effective SOA mounting solution designed for laboratory and R&D applications. This mount features a 10-pin XH connector to interface the butterfly package to the SOA current driver and TEC controller unit. It has an SMA RF input connector with 50Ω input impedance. The pre-configured laser diode pinout is for the standard SOA package pin configuration Type-1.
