Product Overview

5-Pin Sub-D5W5 Cable / Cable Lugs

This connecting cable is terminated on one end with a 5-pin Sub-D5W5 (male) connector to interface to the OsTech high power laser diode and TEC controllers. The connector has a five-pin capacity, but only four pins are populated in the connector. Each pin is rated for up to 40 amps; 2-pins are tied together for both the anode and cathode to enable parallel configuration to allow the user to supply up to 80 amps of total current through this cable. The laser diode end of the cable is terminated with lugs that can be used to the laser diode screw terminals or can be terminated with a wide range of connectors to suit the specific application.
