Product Overview
420 Watt Dual Output TEC Controller Overview
The TEC-1122-SV is a RoHS compliant and specialized TEC Controller/power supply able to precision-drive two independent Peltier elements. Each channel features a true bipolar DC current source for cooling/heating, two temperature monitoring inputs (1x main, 1x auxiliary), and intelligent PID control with auto-tuning. The TEC-1122’s two independent channels may also be operated in parallel, to either drive two individual or one common load (current doubling).
Auxiliary Temperature Sensors for Added Safety
The TEC-1122-SV is delivered configured for NTC (thermistor) temperature sensors. The controller is also configured with auxiliary temperature sensor inputs that allow the connection of NTC probes located on the heat sinks of the Peltier elements; these auxiliary sensors can be used to ensure the thermal safety of the electronics system by preventing thermal runaway. The analog measurement circuit is factory calibrated.
Further functionality includes smooth temperature ramping, thermal stability indication and auto gain (NTC probes). The PC-Software allows data logging and configuration import/export.
Digital Control for Automated OEM Applications
The TEC-1122-SV is fully digitally controlled and its firmware offers numerous communication and safety options. It has an included PC-Software that allows configuration, control, monitoring, and live diagnosis of the TEC Controller via USB and RS485. All parameters are saved to non-volatile memory. The Save function can be disabled for bus operation.

The DPY-1113 TEC Status Display Kit is available to help speed prototyping efforts. The DPY is configurable via the TEC Service Software, and allows the display fields to be customized.
