Product Overview

High Resolution OSA for Laboratory & Manufacturing Test Applications
The ID OSA is a versatile Optical Spectrum Analyzer for laboratory R&D and manufacturing test applications. These high resolution OSA’s offer picometer class spectral resolution across the C-Band wavelength range. They are a cost effective solution for high resolution spectral monitoring applications.

Two input ports with different sensitivity boost the available power range beyond 90dB allowing accurate analysis of both low power signals as well as high power DWDM bands. The unit is compact and rugged as it contains no moving parts and does not require recalibration. The optical input connector plate can be removed by the user allowing the user clean the input port connectors effectively. It is controlled via USB or Ethernet interface and comes with a GUI interface and spectral plot screens

OSA User Interface
In addition to standard USB and ethernet interfaces with included GUI software, the ID OSA also offers an integrated web server application that allows the user to control and monitor the instrument via any Browser based device such as a smartphone or tablet without software installation.

Key Features:

  • Cost Effective – much more affordable than a traditional OSA
  • Fast – scans the entire C-band at full resolution in 0.5 seconds
  • Rugged – no calibration required, and no moving optical parts
  • Compact – 1/2 size 1HE 19 Inch Stacking
