480 Watt OEM Dual TEC Controller

The TEC-1123 is an advanced TEC controller board able to simultaneously precisely control two independent Peltier elements. It is configured to operate with NTC thermistor style temperature sensors (ie 10K thermistors) but can also be ordered configured for Pt100 or Pt1000 type sensors. In addition to precision two channel control, this TEC controller can also be set to a current doubling mode in order to control a single high power application. Each channel features a true bipolar DC current source for cooling / heating as well as two temperature monitoring inputs (1x main, 1x auxiliary. These high performance boards include full PID control with auto tuning.

Auxiliary Temperature Sensors for Added Safety

The TEC-1123-HV is delivered configured for independent NTC (thermistor) temperature sensors for each channel. Each channel is also configured with an auxiliary temperature input that allow the connection of an NTC temperature sensor located on the heat sink of the Peltier elements; these auxiliary sensors can be used to ensure the thermal safety of the system by preventing thermal runaway. The analog measurement circuit is factory calibrated.

Digital Control Interface for Laser Diode Control Applications

The TEC-1123-HV is fully digitally controlled and its firmware offers numerous communication and safety options. It has an included PC-Software allows configuration, control, monitoring, and live diagnosis of the TEC Controller via USB and RS485. All parameters are saved to non-volatile memory. Saving can be disabled for bus operation.

Further functionality includes smooth temperature ramping, thermal stability indication and auto gain (NTC probes). The PC-Software allows data logging and configuration import/export.

DPY-1113 Display Kit for Rapid Prototyping

The DPY-1113 TEC Status Display Kit is available to help speed prototyping efforts. The DPY is configurable via the TEC Service Software, and allows the display fields to be customized.

Temperature Sensor Options for Application Versatility
